Dance Studios in the New Territories

By SpaceFinder HK·7 April 2026·4 min read

For dancers living in the New Territories, the long commute to Kowloon's studio clusters can be a real barrier to regular practice. Fortunately, a growing number of studios have opened across the NT — from Tuen Mun in the west to Tai Po in the northeast. While the selection is smaller than in urban Kowloon, these studios often offer lower prices and a more relaxed atmosphere.

Tuen Mun — Street Dance and Yoga

WestDanz Studio is a 24-hour street dance studio in Tuen Mun, about 5 minutes from Tuen Mun MTR Exit A. Specialising in popping, breaking, krump, hip hop, and house, it has a JBL Partybox speaker, colour-changing spotlights, and WiFi 6. Rates are competitive: $120-140/hr with 15% off for 2+ consecutive hours or with student ID. Hour packages bring costs even lower: 8 hours for $720 or 12 hours for $1,020 (valid 30 days). The late night rate is $300 flat for 6 hours.

Studio Acorn (Tuen Mun) is just 2 minutes from Tuen Mun MTR Exit A. A 750 sqft space with washroom inside the unit, mirrors, sound system, and aerial equipment. Pricing is enquire-only. The Studio Acorn brand is well-established across Hong Kong with consistently high reviews.

Tsuen Wan — Sea View Dancing

FL Studio offers something no other studio in Hong Kong can match: a 28th-floor sea view overlooking Rambler Channel. Located in ONE MIDTOWN near Tsuen Wan West MTR, this 680 sqft space has an 8-foot full-length mirror wall with zero blind spots. 14 yoga mats and blocks are included, making it ready for small yoga classes. Multi-hour discounts apply: 2 hours gets 5% off, 3+ hours gets 15% off. Standard rates are $260/hr, with off-peak starting at $160/hr.

Sha Tin — Mountain Views

Studio Acorn (Shek Mun) is the brand's newest studio, just 2 minutes from Shek Mun MTR Exit C. At 600 sqft with scenic mountain views and extra-high ceilings, it offers extreme privacy with a private washroom inside the unit. Aerial equipment is installed. Currently in trial operation with promotional pricing — contact via WhatsApp for details.

Tai Po — Dance, Yoga, and Pole

Studio Jungle is a 3-room studio at ground level on Kwong Fuk Road in Tai Po, near Tai Po Market MTR. Room A (600 sqft, up to 25 people) and Room B (500 sqft, up to 18 people) both include yoga mats, blocks, and wheels. Room C (120 sqft) has a brass pole for pole dance practice. Pricing ranges from $100/hr (Room C) to $278/hr (Room A). Note that heels are not accepted in Room A. Strict no food/drink policy.

Yuen Long — K-Pop and Kids Dance

DaVenus Dance Company occupies the entire 2nd floor of a building on Castle Peak Road in Yuen Long (above Bossini, near Yuen Long MTR). Three rooms — A (210 sqft), B (260 sqft), and C (510 sqft) — with 7-colour spotlights and private washroom. Primarily a dance school specialising in K-pop, jazz funk, and kids dance, they also rent out space from $100-200/hr.

The Kwai Tsing Bridge

Do not forget that the Kwai Tsing district — with 8 studios and prices from $35/hr — sits on the Tsuen Wan Line and acts as a bridge between the NT and urban Kowloon. If you are commuting from the west, Kwai Hing or Kwai Fong may be your nearest affordable option before heading all the way to Kwun Tong.
