Dance Studios in Mong Kok

By SpaceFinder HK·7 April 2026·3 min read

Mong Kok is the crossroads of Kowloon, and its dance studios reflect that energy. Positioned on the Kwun Tong Line and Tsuen Wan Line, Mong Kok MTR is one of the most accessible stations in Hong Kong. Studios here range from a massive 7-room complex with aerial equipment to intimate, budget-friendly practice rooms on Nathan Road.

Icon Plus Studio — The Flagship

Icon Plus Studio is Mong Kok's standout venue and one of the most reviewed studios in the city (50+ reviews). Occupying 3,000 sqft on Canton Road, it has 7 rooms ranging from the 300 sqft Room I to the impressive 1,150 sqft Room S with 60 coloured stage lights, effect lights, and a smoke machine. Multiple rooms are equipped with yoga mats, aerial yoga cloth, and yoga equipment. Off-peak rates start at just $80/hr for the smaller rooms, while Room S peaks at $560/hr. Overnight flat rates range from $300 to $800 depending on the room. Open 7am-11pm daily.

Professional Production Space

3N4 Production on Sai Yee Street (opposite Sin Tat Plaza) is a 650 sqft sound-insulated studio with professional lighting, separate changing room and washroom. It caters to dance, filming, advertising, drama rehearsal, yoga, and workshops. At $220-270/hr with a 20% student discount, it is one of the more affordable professional-grade options in Mong Kok. Heels are welcome, and owl sessions run at $220/hr per hour from 11pm to 6am. Open from 6am.

Budget and Quick-Access Options

Studio Acorn (Mong Kok) is the brand's newest location, right on Nathan Road just 1-2 minutes from Mong Kok MTR. Currently in trial operation with $20 off all time slots. It is a private room with washroom inside the unit, yoga equipment, Bluetooth speaker, and tripod. This 500 sqft space is 24-hour and enquire-only for pricing.

Cove Studio (Mong Kok) is a compact 300 sqft space starting from $60/hr — one of the lowest rates in the district. Enquire via DM for details and availability.

Why Choose Mong Kok

Mong Kok is ideal if you want a studio that is easy to reach from almost anywhere in Kowloon. The interchange between the Kwun Tong and Tsuen Wan Lines means you are connected to both the industrial dance hubs of East Kowloon and the western New Territories corridor. Food options are endless, and late-night sessions can be paired with the district's famous street food scene.

The district has fewer studios than Kwun Tong or San Po Kong, but what it lacks in volume, it makes up in quality and convenience. Icon Plus Studio alone could satisfy most needs with its 7-room variety, and the other venues fill specific niches — production work at 3N4, quick private practice at Studio Acorn, and budget sessions at Cove.
